I am convinced that politics needs to listen better. Everyone in Europe has their own strengths, challenges and experiences. Our task is to build an inclusive, fair and resilient democracy in which everyone can fully develop their abilities — without fear and without discrimination. We can only achieve that together and on equal footing. Populism and division must not shape who we become.
What matters most to me is the Europe we leave to the next generations. As a teacher and a mother of two, I know that we still have a lot to do when it comes to equal opportunities. Let’s get to work — for Europe’s society of the future.
